Georgia earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Master’s of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is an LMSW and has held the roles of social worker and clinical therapist in various mental health settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, residential treatment clinics, and mental health startups. Georgia has worked with pediatric/adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations using a mixture of treatment modalities and interventions to help those with serious mental illness and co-occurring diagnoses achieve mental stability with overall improved well-being.
At the onset of the Global Pandemic, Georgia returned to her childhood hometown of Battle Creek to be with family. She continues to work in the mental health field, providing CBT, DBT, ACT, and other therapeutic interventions to those in crisis. “I get enjoyment helping others learn healthy coping strategies to promote stress reduction and healthy interpersonal relationships.” In her spare time, Georgia enjoys spending time with her family and working on small DIY projects.
