Post-Discharge Outreach

We know that consistent contact cultivates relationships. After leaving Smoky Mountain Lodge, each alumni receives an initial check-in, as well as ongoing scheduled check-ins. During these check-ins, recovery challenges and the needed resources are identified and addressed so our alumni and their families feel supported.

I have been to Pasadena Villa Smoky Mountain Lodge twice. Once when I was 19 and again at 23. Both times, I was treated with so much respect, compassion, and care from the technicians, therapists, and nursing staff. I would 100% recommend this facility to a loved one. The facility is beautiful and so serene. They make you feel right at home and there's always someone from the staff who’s willing and able to talk to you while you're experiencing ANY feeling or emotion. I love Pasadena Villa Smoky Mountain Lodge. – Grateful Alumnus

Pasadena Villa will always hold a special place in my heart. The staff gave me the tools to press reset on my life to thrive better mentally and physically. Special thanks to my therapist Luda! The key to my success was taking initiative to learn the skills presented to me. I learned to be my own advocate and to speak up for myself. It’s up to each patient to take the steps to get better. My light is shining bright again, and my freak flag waves high in the air.
If you plan to go to Pasadena Villa know that you are the most important person in your life. You must feel safe first. And most importantly if you feel as if you are falling the staff is there to catch you and lift you up!– Grateful Alumnus

Phenomenal care for my son! Smoky Mountain Lodge helped him tremendously. He still has a long way to go but the therapists were able to get through to him about the importance of taking medication, helped him get back into a healthy sleep rhythm, and pretty much helped save his life. The after-care plan has been a God send! We were glad to get some answers about his behaviors. I would love to do some family therapy at some point for sure! – Grateful Parent of an Alumnus

Smoky Mountain Lodge was an experience that I would recommend to anyone who needs it. I went from someone who pretended that they were someone they weren't just to hide, to a girl who lets herself feel and is able to cope with those emotions. Smoky Mountain Lodge got me the help that I deserved and needed in a timely manner. The staff is genuinely nice and cares about their job. The therapists take the time out of their day to make sure each client is alright. Don't let the scariness of a long treatment time scare you, this place will help you be free. Smoky Mountain Lodge ensures that each client is stable and helps them along the way even after they leave. It’s a place that’s accepting to everyone no matter who they are. If you ever feel like you need the extra help, reach out to Smoky Mountain Lodge. It will change your life for the better. – Grateful Alumnus
